Half-Shire Historical Society
“Half-Shire” is a reference to the rival county seats established in Oswego and Pulaski in 1816, when the County was founded. The Society houses a collection of geneological records and historical books, records, and artifacts. The building, the former “Richland School,” has benefited from significant restoration, and hosts events year round.

The downtown beautification and improvement program is underway! New trees have been planted and grates installed, and new benches and receptacles will be installed in the Spring.
